Want to leverage your experience and development skills in the Healthcare industry as a React Developer?


CGI is seeking an experienced React Developer with modern software engineering practices (Continuous Integration, Specification by Example, Behavior / Test Driven Development – BDD, TDD) to become a part of a dynamic team.


This is an exciting opportunity to augment your current skills, as well as learn new technologies.

This role can be located in Lafayette, LA or Bloomfield, CT.


Your future duties and responsibilities


Construct visualizations that are able to smoothly and accurately depict data in web-based user portals.


Work seamlessly with the rest of the engineering team (e.g. back-end & front-end developers).


Work with product team and UX designers to understand user interactions and iteratively build customer-facing features.


Ability to work in an agile environment and iterate quickly based on customer and internal feedback.


You’ll participate in design discussions, helping us decide our best ways of building new features.


You’ll break down, oversee, and deliver stories to advance our product using the Agile SCRUM methodology.


Mentor others in your areas of expertise


Collaborate with our QA, DevOps, Product, and Support teams.


Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role


Demonstrated success in actively contributing to large enterprise projects.


Proven experience with responsive website design


8+ year experience with JavaScript / HTML / CSS with 6 years focused in React JS


Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Spring Boot


Proficiency in Node.js or GraphQL


5+ year experience of SQL/NoSQL


Python Experience is Plus


Experience working on large-scale web initiatives & single page web applications.


Experience with Linux systems (bash), Git, and TDD or basic unit-testing


Good hands-on experience in using JavaScript, React JS, API integration.


Desired Qualifications/non-essential Skills Required


Knowledge of Kubernetes, Dockers, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline and Maven.


Experience with public APIs and multi-modal services


Knowledge in using HTML/HTML5, NodeJS, CSS3, JavaScript, type script, React js, and ES6.


Experience with MonoRepo environment.


Knowledge of best practices commonly used modules and creating self-contained reusable and testable modules and components.


Dedicated team player who can lead a project and have worked on large-scale applications.


Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results.


Mentor less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process.


CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - 161,600.
