Centrum Surgery Center is looking to hire a Part-Time Radiology Technologist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have knowledge of best practices in obtaining diagnostic imaging within the intraoperative clinical setting.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Adjusts and sets radiographic controls, such as kilovoltage and milliamperage, to prescribed specifications for proper timing of exposure
• Takes preventative steps to minimize radiation exposure to the patient and fellow staff
• Set up and operate radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
• Positions patient and set up and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality x-ray of the specific body area requested by the physician
• Select proper ionizing factors for radiologic diagnosis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active license with the Texas Medical Board
• Two years of radiology experience in a healthcare facility (with one year in the operating room)
• Associate's or Bachelors degree in radiological technology
• A.R.R.T certification
