Radiology Technologist

Job Summary
Perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of injuries and disease.

Education
Must be an ARRT registered technologist or registry eligible. Must be a graduate of approved school with Associate in Science Degree. .

Experience
Radiologic experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
• Must have excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Aid physician with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocol, as necessary.
• Complete forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed. Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environment.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions to management.
• Must be familiar with the operation of all x-ray equipment.
• Must be task oriented, organized, and able to interact calmly with patients/family members who may be under stress.
• Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Must have analytical skills necessary to determine method of providing radiographs based on the specifics of individual cases, utilization knowledge of techniques and provide technical advice for fellow employees.
