Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides assistance to patients and their significant other, technologists, physicians and other hospital personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job. Explains procedure to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

Edward Hospital


Hours


3:00PM to 11:00PM


Weekends and Holidays (as needed)


Required


  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Windows® experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (BLS Provider or BLS Instructor) within 30 days
  • Excellent telephone etiquette


Preferred


  • Experience with healthcare information systems, including PACS
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • One year experience in a healthcare setting, especially in direct patient care role
  • Keyboarding skills of 35-40 wpm
