Job Description

Under the direction of a Radiologist with minimal supervision, performs radiographic procedures. Responsible for designated areas or procedures; performs procedures requiring independent judgment.

Responsibilities:
*Performs imaging procedures, operating appropriate equipment.
*Processes imaging media, trouble shoots and corrects problems.
*Performs basic nursing care.
*Performs departmental clerical duties.
*Ensures patient s rights are protected.
*Participates in Performance Improvement.
*Assists with orientation of new personnel; supervises students during their clinical rotation.
*Promotes a safe environment.

 

PLEASE NOTE: This Position Requires Completion of ARRT or exempt if hired prior to 1984. CANDIDATES WHO ARE SELECTED FOR THE POSITION MUST SIGN AN AGREEMENT TO OBTAIN THIS CREDENTIAL
