I am working with a phenomenal organization in Georgia that is seeking a high-caliber quality professional to join the team as Quality Program Manager.


Job Summary:

As the Quality Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction are maintained. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement initiatives across all departments, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.


Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality improvement, sharing knowledge, and implementing new strategies as appropriate.
  • Facilitate the review of clinical processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with evidence-based guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Ensure accreditation readiness and implement initiatives that will achieve continuous survey readiness.
  • Become the organization’s subject matter expert on Leapfrog, Vizient, and JCAHO Core Measures.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular quality improvement meetings, providing education and training to staff members on quality improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement, including patient safety, clinical outcomes, infection prevention, and patient experience.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality improvement programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, identify trends, and develop action plans to address any performance gaps.
  • Serve as a resource and consultant to department leaders, providing guidance on quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality improvement, preferably in a hospital or healthcare system setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to drive change and inspire a culture of quality improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, regulatory standards, and best practices in healthcare quality management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
