Job Responsibilities:


 Manage the quality department and utilize resources effectively to meet the needs of the business.


 Perform failure mode analyses on current production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximize product quality and cost reduction.


 Interpret customer requirements and define processes to ensure that product meets customer specifications.


 Investigate customer complaints through root cause analysis and implement effective short-term containment activities and long-term solutions to ensure product quality. Interact directly with customer’s


quality personnel.


 Direct the development, execution, and maintenance of IATF-16949 quality system standards and ensure adherence to applicable quality requirements.


 Monitor supplier performance effectiveness and implement processes designed to improve supplier quality and reduce costs.


 Facilitate customer requirements for raw material tubes and coordinate intermediate products and/or outside services for suppliers.


 Support annual IATF-16949 recertification efforts.


 Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


 High school diploma, or equivalent, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science fields.


 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an ISO 9000 or IATF-16949 manufacturing environment, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.


 Minimum of 1 year experience leading and developing a team of employees.


 Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


 Proficiency in using Microsoft applications.


 Hands-on experience using various metrology equipment.


 Must be self-motivated, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.


You should be proficient in:


  • Quality Control Data Analysis
  • AS9100 Experience
  • Quality Inspection Experience
  • GD&T
  • Blueprint Reading
