Quality – FARO Complex Analysis Specialist
Specialist in Quality - FARO Complex Analysis
Pay: $19-22 per hour DOE
SHIFT: TBD
REPORTS TO: The Manager or Assistant Manager
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: Quality – FARO Complex Analysis Specialist
Polywork workspace development based on stamping and comps part quality standards.
A part scan accuracy analysis that compares the effects of various alignment strategies on total accuracy.
Capable of collecting data from components and fixtures using a laser probe or a hard probe using a Faro arm to arm.
Capable of using Polyworks Software to compare scan data to scan data for virtual fit study of mating components for gap and interference issues.
An awareness of the fundamentals of GD&T when they relate to component datum scheme and tolerances
Record data results and analyze them using Microsoft office software.
The capacity to work in a fast-paced atmosphere under difficult circumstances.
The capacity and readiness to take additional training, both on- and off-site.
Both a team player and a team builder are required.
High level of problem-solving skills, particularly the ability to handle difficult problems
JOB REQUIREMENTS: An associate's degree or its equivalent from a two-year college or technical institute; or six months to a year of relevant experience and/or training.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) proficiency
Ability to conduct analyses, gather data, and understand results.
Excellent communicator, both internally and externally.
Must be present on a regular basis.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance and anything heavier with the correct lifting equipment.
Must be able to stand and walk for long stretches of time.
