Job Description
Job Responsibilities


Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to the QA/QC. Prepares reports for management review including incidents, work orders, supply and equipment needs, position management information, and summations of meetings and trainings attended to provide work management with necessary planning and scheduling information, to keep management informed of incidents, issues, and needs, to review trends, and to share best practices and resolve problems within the custodial services areas. Communicate with work management to identify trends and patterns to assure proper attention and resources are established to proactively rectify issues.


Coordinates with contractor and custodial services leadership regarding the custodial aspect of special events by communicating with university personnel, planning, organizing, and delegating necessary work, and then ensuring after event support such as clean-up and inspections occur. When and if problems occur, such as vandalism, communicate with appropriate personnel and develops necessary work orders and obtain police report relevant to incident. Communicate with building liaisons, deans, department chairs, professors, and other department staff on a regular basis. Prefer recommendations to company management on ways to improve on existing quality processes, collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance.


Minimum And Additional Requirements


High school diploma and three years custodial service experience with three years of supervisory experience. South Carolina driver’s license required.


Preferred Qualifications


Associate Degree or higher and five years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified with one year of supervisory experience; or equivalency. Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.

Ability to prioritize and make the optimal use of personnel, materials, and equipment. Ability to plan, direct and review the work of subordinates. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company.
