Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a quality-focused, well-rounded, and adaptable individual to join our quality control lab as a QC analyst. This this position, you will conduct chemical and physical analyses of raw materials and finished goods ensuring testing is completed in compliance with all applicable procedures, standards, and GMP regulations. What You Will Do as a USANA Quality Assurance Lab Analyst

• Provide summary analysis details to management and/or auditor as applicable
• Perform analytical assays of active ingredients in raw materials and dietary supplements
• Facilitate the expedited testing of “hot” or high priority items
• Perform material analysis including chemical identification

Background and Skills You Will Need

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Experienced in regulatory/pharmacopeia requirements for product testing and method validation
• Excellent documentation skills, ability to work independently in complex projects
• Ability to perform basic scientific mathematical functions
• Experience in laboratory research and/or analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field (Chemistry, Biology or Biochemistry)
• Strong analytical chemistry knowledge in one or more of the following instruments: LC, LCMS, LCMS/MS, GC, ICP-MS
