Quality Control Inspector Jobs

Function Summary
The job function is facilitating the inspection of first article, in process, and final inspection per AS9100 requirements. Communicate with the production floor, customers and outside process suppliers to ensure blueprint specifications are held.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Create work in progress inspection sheets for production floor.
• Maintain records and all ISO 9001 documentation.
• Read and Understand Micrometers, Dial Calipers, Depth Gages, Optical Comparator, Height Gages, Bore Gages, Dial Indicators and CMM.
• Complete all forms and instructions having to do with quality issues, procedures, etc.
• Write and perform First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102 FAIR).

Education, Skills And Experience

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Standard computer skills needed.
• Minimum 3 years inspection experience.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Must be highly organized and self-motivated.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
