Quality Control Inspector Jobs

Project: Vance Air Force Base

Location: Enid, OK

Wage Range: $24 to $30 per hour

IHC Scott is seeking an experienced quality control inspector to help build our project in Enid, OK.

• Candidates will be sent for additional training/certifications as needed, paid for by IHC Scott
• Vehicle provided for company use

Responsibilities

• Observe the work daily for compliance with the contract documents and prepare the appropriate CQC Forms
• Ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and used appropriately
• Verify daily the compliance of materials and equipment delivered to and/or incorporated into the work
• Review any related submittals for conformance with the contract documents
• Responsible for observing and making good business decisions
• Be physically present at the jobsite when any work related to the area assigned is being performed
• Ensure workplace is safe, organized and productive
• Supervise and coordinate all inspections and testing contained in the contract documents related to your areas of responsibility
• Inspect plans, materials and finished work products
• Keep accurate notes and records
• Have past heavy civil/horizontal construction experience
• Assure that the reported tests are in compliance with the contract documents
• Review the contract specifications, drawings and any referenced publications contained in contract documents so as to be fully knowledgeable of the scopes of responsibility
• Perform process checks

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 20 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be detailed oriented, organized and self sufficient
• ACI & ODOT certifications are preferred, not required.
