This role in summary


Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Auditor. This role is for our Fall River, MA location.

In our continuous improvement culture focusing on keeping the customer at the center of everything we do, we are posting an opening for an auditor at our Fall River plant. The positions will focus on ensuring compliance with quality standards as well as running and/or supporting investigations to root cause issues and implement countermeasures.


Work shift: 1st (6:45am – 3:15pm) overtime & saturdays as-required.


Hourly Rate: $22.50


Your responsibilities will include

  • Act as the first step in the help chain.
  • This person will be expected to backfill inspector roles if required
  • Support assembly inspection and audits.
  • Provide daily documentation of key metrics and information.
  • Follow audit procedures to ensure critical parameters are in compliance
  • Inventory control physically and in spreadsheets
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and record performance
  • Communicate key issues and support root cause analysis
  • Perform investigations and report on findings and countermeasures.

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of quality work experience

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Critical thinking to understand potential issues on the product from a customer perspective and potential solutions.
  • Ability to lead by example and make timely business decisions.
  • 1+ years of work experience of quality assurance in manufacturing environment RSRWH
  • Basic computer skills
  • Organization skills for different tasks and data collection.
  • Ability to follow step by step processes and work well with others.
