Quality Control Associate Jobs

Sportsman Boats is looking for a Quality Control Associate who will implement quality control measures to ensure that high quality standards are achieved on a consistent basis for pre-inspect and during the polish & inspect process. This position strives to improve quality and manufacturing processes on a daily basis. This position will conduct inspections, audits and many other daily projects as needed.

What you will do:

• Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors and team leads as to corrective measures
• Participates in improving the work environment through 5S standards
• Reports data back to Mold Maintenance and Tooling Department
• Works closely with department managers supervisors, and team leads to ensure good quality product and workmanship standards are being met before and during polish & inspect
• Promotes and execute quality standards, inspection processes, instruction, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports
• Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records
• Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Performs real-time quality assurance checks during production processes; monitor shortages

To be considered you must have:

• Confidence in decision making; willing to push back on production staff when quality or workmanship standards are not being met
• Strong execution capability, time-management skills, and multi-tasking; ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production needs
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in manufacturing
• Able to work with little supervision in a fast paced-high output production plant

• Strong personality, flexible with change
• Demonstrated success in improving quality and efficiency
• Demonstrate ability to deal with adversity
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desirable
