Job Description

Quality Assurance Engineer - ETL

Client: Fortune 100 - Global agribusiness

Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN (100% Remote)

Duration: Contract (W2)

Compensation: Excellent Pay + Great Benefits and 401k contributions


Our client, a leading global agribusiness, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with solid ETL testing and SQL scripting experience. This is a potential long-term contract opportunity with a great team.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure traceability of Test Cases to User Stories.
  • Generate test data for short and long term application needs.
  • Participate on agile team as QA member.
  • Provide estimates for test effort.
  • Review requirements and clarify requirements.
  • Create and execute test plans, scripts, scenarios.
  • Log and track defects through to resolution.
  • Assist in UAT testing phase.
  • Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, issue/defect reporting, maintain metrics and provide go/no go recommendation.
  • Manage deployments into Test and UAT environments.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Snowflake experience is highly desired but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of QA testing experience.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL scripting.
  • Expertise in ETL testing.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology in a QA role.
