Summary
Real Estate transactions are high pressure and a real estate agent, their team, or their client being blocked because of an issue in the software is unacceptable. As a member of the overall Quality team, the Quality Analyst is our front line defense making sure our customers have the best possible experience using Jointly. As new features are released they're manually tested by our Quality Analysts and then handed over for long-term automation. Our software is complex and handles the multitude of real-world scenarios that agents come across with a sophisticated rules engine leveraging multiple data sources. We're a company that reacts quickly to client needs and changes and leverage automation to serve as our safety net.
Responsibilities
Works with peers and business partners to analyze requirements, understand expected behaviors and then test the application from different angles. If a defect or usability concern is found you'll raise a ticket work with Implementation, Engineering, and Product to determine the best possible outcomes for our users. You'll need to focus to catch errors, remember what you did 30 minutes ago to ensure the system is behaving correctly later in the customers journey. You'll need to use your savviness as a technology user to pre troubleshoot what a potential cause to an error might have been. You'll need to use your business acumen to put yourself into the shoes of our client and come up with and test a wide variety of what-if scenarios.
Qualifications
- Degree from a 4 year accredited university.
- Strong computer skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A positive attitude, creative spirit, and customer-focused drive are HUGE for us as a startup.
- Background in Real Estate, experience with Jira, and XRay are a huge plus!
If you're local to Austin, we're in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays. Remote okay otherwise!
