Romsdahl Companies, a design-build construction company that values high-quality work, good relationships, and a family like work environment, is currently accepting applications for a full-time CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER.

This position is a mix of estimating and project management related tasks. The ideal candidate would be respectful, self-motivated and an experienced individual who shares our passion for the building industry we serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Purchase orders and material deliveries
• Review project actuals from original estimates
• Scheduling
• Prepare estimates from designs, takeoffs and specifications including labor, equipment, materials and sub-contractors
• Quality control and onsite inspections
• Sub-contractor coordination and supervision
• Analyze and execute construction documents
• Manage on-site inventory
• Manage costs by tracking labor, equipment, materials and sub-contractors
• Project completion
• Identifying and managing changes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Willingness to learn
• Highly motivated
• Knowledge of the Ag industry is beneficial, but not required
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• General comprehension of construction methods, estimating and project management
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work individually and in team settings
