About This Role
The QC / Revision Supervisor will undertake administrative-operational tasks ensuring the QC / Revision Specialist have the adequate support to work efficiently. when changes on the designs are needed. The tasks will include contacting all internal and external departments leaders to resolve and align for process streamline. The Design Revision Specialist Supervisor ensures smooth running of the Design & Engineering department by tracking and compiling data for quality-process and contributing in driving sustainable improvements.
Overall Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with managers to determine expectations to meet daily revisions KPIs
  • Tracks, documents and delivers feedback to leadership for process improvement
  • Oversee all QC / Revision Specialist
  • Create and update SOP for internal process flow
  • Train and provide feedback to QC / Revision Specialist
  • Communicating as the main point of contact to the corresponding authorities that hold jurisdictions when clarifications are needed related to codes, policies, procedures or any other applicable resolution needed
  • Train and provide feedback to internal and external drafters
  • Participate in biweekly and quarterly quality assurance, project evaluation, and performance assessment for department success
  • Supports and participates in the formal reporting process
  • Builds valuable relationships with local jurisdictions plan checkers, inspectors and others for better understanding of design needs
  • Revises, categorizes and documents changes requested to the design
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Reliable and good attitude
  • Residential small-scale PV system designs
  • Associates degree and/or 1-3 years of solar design experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Motivated team player with a strong work ethic who listens, learns, and actively communicates to the highest degree
  • Knowledge and correct interpretation of International, National and local codes applicable to Solar Residential Photovoltaic Constructions
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical
