Don’t wait, join Pepsi Bottling Ventures now. • Provides direction to Syrup Blenders and Quality Control Technicians. • Ensures all syrup, ingredient, and product testing is performed according to guidelines. • Ensures all lab equipment is calibrated according to guidelines. • Ensures all concentrate and raw materials are inventoried accurately. • Maintains accurate record keeping. • Fills in for syrup blenders and Quality Control Technicians when necessary. • Provides back-up for the Quality Control Technician and manages Quality Control department in the Quality Control Manager’s absence. • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Sciences or related field preferred. Three (3) years supervisory experience preferred. Must have a science background, high school chemistry. Good Laboratory Practices (GLP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and chemical safety background required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to supervise and provide training to direct reports. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Must have accurate recordkeeping skills. Must be able to satisfactory complete the Quality Leadership Training Program. Must be able to satisfactory complete Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Frequently (34%-66%) must be walking and standing. Occasionally (0%-33%) must climb, sit, and lift no more than 50 lbs.
