Job Description
  • Test and report on defects.
  • The candidate will perform repeatable testing procedures and may need to be familiar with programming languages. Carry out testing methods and equipment, run test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests. Implement the testing processes and ensure all test activities follow those processes. Produce reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics.
  • Perform defect tracking and management.
  • Solid understanding SDLC, requirements traceability and defect lifecycle.
  • Peer review test cases and incorporate feedback.
  • Reviews design documents and ensure technical specifications and designs are correct.
  • Ability to demonstrate sample test cases created during the interview.
  • Maintain an RTM.
  • Proficiency using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Write SQL scripts to identify test data.
  • 2-4 years of QA Testing experience.
  • Develop good quality test cases and plans.
  • Must have good knowledge about functional, regression, compatibility, and smoke testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required and some business/functional knowledge and/or industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable in client facing roles.
  • Perform manual testing on the software systems.
  • Experience with RPA or automated testing is a plus.
  • Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a QA Tester.
  • Perform functional, regression, compatibility, and smoke testing.
  • Strong working knowledge of test scripts, software testing.
