Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Update manual and automated test scripts to ensure currency
  • Automation and manual test execution, including feature and regression tests/test plans
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and tracking bugs using appropriate tools like Jira
  • Conduct historical analyses of test results
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
  • Perform risk-based, ad hoc, and exploratory testing
  • Write and maintain test inventories; install and maintain applications on test environments
  • Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual and automation test plans, test cases, scripts and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in software development teams and using software QA methodologies and tools
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and product deliverables
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Ability to speak and write fluent English
  • Good Background in Bash, Python, Java or Groovy Scripting
  • Significant Automation experience in UI/API testing using tools involving Selenium
  • GNU/Linux and CENTOS knowledge
  • Familiarity with GitHub
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer

Bonus experience (not required but nice to have)

  • Performance or security testing
  • Katalon Automation Framework
  • VOIP technologies and/or networking protocols, including TCP/IP and SIP
