Job Responsibilities

Job Purpose: Performs research and conducts evaluation of the agency's programs to properly assess compliance, performance and customer service. Reports violations of compliance to Quality Assurance Director and assist in deployment of staff trainings in support of the agency's mission.


Job Responsibilities For QA Coordinator


  • Assist Director/Ombudsman with responding to challenging cases. Make recommendations on how to better serve sensitive cases. Conduct special topical reviews as directed by the Quality Assurance Director to identify compliance issues and other areas of service delivery or caseload management in need of improvement.
  • Assist in the ongoing collaboration with the Quality Assurance team and IT staff to accurately record and compile data for case reviews. Coordinate the editing of remarks and schedule meetings with the Quality Assurance Director to identify trends and ensure reviews reflect the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) performance requirements and any other state or federal regulations.
  • Assist in the ongoing activities of the Quality Assurance Division to ensure that individual, area, and statewide compliance occurs as outlined by agency and federal regulations. Assist in developing and conducting training for field office staff, utilizing trend data to provide instruction in correcting repetitive errors and reinforcement of best practices in service provisions and documentation.
  • Assist Director/Ombudsman in responding to cases needing additional guidance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct the Quality Assurance reviews monthly, quarterly, and annually to assess the agency's program integrity in the areas of compliance and quality service delivery.


Minimum And Additional Requirements


A high school diploma and relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.


Knowledge of agency's mission, programs and objectives. Ability to analyze program service delivery and documentational order to develop a corrective action plan that ensures federal and state performance measures are achieved. Ability to interpret and communicate compliance outcomes to employees. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports.


Under supervision of the Quality Assurance Director, employee must be able to work independently and use good judgment.


Travel to other offices. Some overnight travel may be required. Carry laptop and other office equipment.
