Job Description

A fintech firm which specialises in designing, developing and maintaining state-of-the-art algo's for their trading clients is looking to add Python developers to their NYC team who have an interest in working on mathematical/quanty applications to become Quant Devs. Designing and implementing Python applications using Pandas / Numpy to cover data priming, model execution, and post-trade processes across multiple new products the team is launching in the next 12-18 months.


Requirements:


  • An interest in working with businesses directly in a flat structured environment incl. traders/quants
  • AWS and React experience are nice to haves
  • 2-5 years of experience building quantitative, data-intensive products using Python, Pandas and Numpy are key
  • Computer science or related degree from a top university
  • Excellent understanding of commercial development practices such as testing, documentation, as well as package management and SDLC


Hybrid work model. Compensation $100-150,000 base salary with 20% bonus + benefits.
