Job Description
The Purchasing Coordinator will assist in daily activities of the Purchasing Department which include ensuring on time deliveries and maintaining data in the ERP system timely and accurately.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Place non-inventory purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier performances regarding timelines and completeness of deliveries and make sure the deliveries arrive on time.
  • Maintain a good relationship with all suppliers.
  • Maintain ERP system by updating purchase orders with delivery information.
  • Track and analyze all POs with periodic status reviews.
  • Issue bi-weekly open order status report to the suppliers.
  • Contribute to the integrity of company purchases through verification and maintenance of all required purchasing documents
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of business principals and processes and office protocol.
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Must have good organization and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
