Job Description


We’re looking for a Public Relations Specialist to join Procore’s Communications Team, which is responsible for promoting and protecting the brand globally and telling inspiring stories about technology, talent, and the company.

We are looking for the perfect blend of creativity, flexibility, collaboration, and technical expertise. Most importantly, we need someone passionate about articulating the power of digital and cultural transformation across the construction industry while keeping a pulse on current trends within the media landscape.

This position requires the ability to thoughtfully curate and support the development of corporate announcements and high-level thought leadership content for Procore’s owned, shared, and earned media channels. As a Public Relations Specialist, you will be a strong contributor to in-house media relations efforts and be expected to develop and maintain relationships with trade, technology, and business outlets. Preferred candidates come with an established network of media contacts and a deep understanding of how to communicate with journalists. This role requires you to be a solid writer and emerging strategist with the ability to support multi-channel communications and marketing campaigns. You should also be comfortable contributing innovative approaches and ideas, actively generating new perspectives on your own work and the work of the communications team.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain the external communications announcement calendar
  • Report on the performance of external communications through analysis of blog posts, press release engagement/reach, and earned media coverage
  • Ensure all communication is cohesive across all external Procore brand channels, including social media and the corporate blog
  • Optimize new and existing blog posts that are aligned with SEO best practices
  • Contribute to media relations efforts for news and ongoing storytelling
  • Write blog posts and press releases
  • Support the team with external communications efforts around annual conferences (e.g., Groundbreak)
  • Stay up to date on industry trends
  • Support crisis and issues communications efforts

What we’re looking for:

  • A motivated individual with strong writing and presentation skills who can take on a wide scope of tasks and responsibilities
  • Deep drive for fast-paced, continuous problem-solving through ambiguity.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Natural ability to develop trusting relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • 3+ years of work experience, ideally in communications or public relations
  • Experience in enterprise software/technology communications is highly desirable
  • Previous PR agency experience is preferred

Additional Information
Base Pay Range $65,200-$89,650. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
