Your Role With Us:

Your ability to cultivate and maintain relationships while monitoring and analyzing proposed legislation will help you be successful in this complex role.

Core Functions:

  • Develop and implement government relations strategies that promote the interests our Health System at the local, state and federal levels.
  • Research, write and edit internal and external messages for the key priorities and proprietary issues.
  • Educates and engages key elected officials in hospital-related events and activities.
  • Build relationships with city, country, state and federal elected officials.

Background/Expertise:

  • Bachelor Degree OR right (8) years of related work experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience where each year of educations equates to two (2) years of experience
  • Negotiation and facilitation skills - personal integrity and good judgment
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people and entities.
  • Five (5) years of experience in policy, advocacy or communications, ideally related to health care issues.
