Description
Please note: This is a remote role, however the successful hire will either be located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
The Provider Data Analyst will analyze, research, coordinate, and report on provider file data to support both internal and/or external requests. The Analyst will be also responsible for reviewing provider data quality for deficiencies and work to remediate those deficiencies. The Analyst will also be responsible for using SQL for a variety of queries within provider data.
Primary Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Generates provider data reports and analyses to support internal client needs including network management, sales, account management, and other key functions.
  • Acts as a liaison with the assigned analyst completing the report and the requesting department and/or provider, clarifies report to ensure that it meets the client's needs and helps to clarify additional required information or data needs.
  • May be responsible for enhancements and testing.
  • Uses GeoNetworks and other software tools.
  • Perform provider data support, data/file analysis, network analysis, surveys, reporting (including creating and publishing), and other ad hoc data requests.
  • Ensures the quality and accuracy of all reports.
  • Serves as a technical data expert and liaison between the provider database organization, and other functional areas to support data requests and ensure uniform and consistent data and data flow.
  • Performs provider data analysis and reporting in response to external request from providers and/or regulatory agencies.
Position Requirements
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 year of data file/reporting experience, and experience using analytics and/or relational databases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must also have strong skills in SQL and SQL queries.
  • Provider data experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using software such as GeoNetworks strongly preferred.
  • Must have healthcare experience.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $61,920 to $111,456
