Job Description
Australian - English Quality Control Reviewer


Location: Orlando, FL


Hours: Part Time


Salary: $28 Per Hour


Productive Playhouse, a leader in transcription services, is hiring expert linguists whose native language is Australian English. Experience in the language service industry is preferred. Qualifying experience may include: translations, interpretation, transcription, linguistics or additional language education.


As the On-Site Quality Control Reviewer, you are responsible for reviewing the work completed on-site to ensure it meets the quality standards set forth by the client. Your reliability and attention to detail plays a key role in ensuring our team's quality and compliance.


This position is part-time (8-12 hours per week). The nature of the role is ongoing and project-based. The workload is dependent on project needs.


Productive Playhouse has an extensive background in language services, including transcription, translation, and audio collection projects in a wide variety of languages. Responsibilities


  • Create and report daily quality logs to On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
  • Report violations of security clean room policies, reporting violations to On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
  • Direct project related questions to On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
  • Review completed work, citing all issues as they pertain to the quality of the work.
  • Suggest opportunities for improvements to On-site Team Auditor / OPS Auditing manager
  • Maintain clear understanding of the clients guidelines and quality expectations

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
  • Proficient on PC and Google Suite
  • Precise attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • 50 WPM typing speed preferred
  • Fluent in Australian English (you will be asked to take a language assessment)
  • Navigate situations effectively with professionalism and ease
  • US work authorization (the company cannot provide sponsorship)
  • Thoughtful communication among all levels, offering clear and timely feedback
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID, or the ability to provide medical or religious documentation for exemption.
  • Ability to identify patterns of commonality and concerns
  • Able to commute to our office in Orlando, Florida
  • 18+ years of age
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of client and industry clean room standards
