Project Manager Jobs

Seeking a Project Manager for an energy construction company based in Manchester, CT.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience in a Project Management role within the utility or construction utility industry. Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCad is highly desired. You have the ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments.
This position is responsible for overseeing utility services projects for Electrical Distribution and Transmission, Substations.

• Responsible for budgets, schedules and customer communications.
• Track all change orders and ensure prompt closeout of all projects assigned.
• Keep management informed of any problem area, especially those that may have financial impact.
• Oversee project labor force.
• Develop project execution plan in accordance with the contract documents.
• Develop and maintain the project master budget and project schedule.
• Provide status reports on all projects to the customer.
• Provide follow-up with all customers to gauge satisfaction with services and gather input for possible improvements.
• Act as the customers main contact.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Construction Management or related field required.
• Ability to work in and with a team to deliver quality, consistently.
• Must have strong analytical, verbal, written and communication skills.
• MS Excel required.
• Must be highly motivated and self-directed.
