Project Manager I With Security Clearance

Position Title: Project Manager I Work Location: Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina Summary: Advantage SCI has an opportunity for a Project Manager to provide oversite management services for a government contract and to meet customer expectations. The successful candidate will perform in a leadership role to manage all aspects of employees performing on the contract and ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety and security and budget. Duties includes, but is not limited to:

• Approves timesheets, counsels, mentors, and ensures termination process is completed for employees
• Compiles, documents, and submits status and action reports to customer and company Program Manager
• Daily interface with functional department team leads to provide direction and accountability to ensure project execution is aligned with project planning goals and objectives
• Develops and implements mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with functional managers, leadership, and customers
• Measures and reports project performance metrics using internal systems, tools and techniques
• Candidate must be self-driven, able to operate independently and able to seek out opportunities for improvement
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction objectives
• Leverages a superior ability to present to peers and leadership
• Sets the standard toward an enthusiastic approach to assure program events are accomplished on time and that developing a Quality product is understood to be foremost
• Leadership role to successfully manage all aspects of a program and serve as the primary point of contact to the customer
• Provides critical status updates to the Customer designated point(s) of contact and to company Program Manager leadership, formally and informally, on a frequent basis
• Reviews candidate resumes for selection to vacant positions and provides recommendations; interviews candidates; ensures new employees are onboarded in compliance to the contract; ensures CACs are obtained and compliance is met for training.
• Manages and communicates the schedule and cost performance, application of resources, and risk associated with our customer on a government contract
