Job Description

Embedded within the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard, the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT) is a highly collaborative organization of professional scientists. Our mission is to translate the deep biological insights originating from the Broad community into impactful drug discovery projects. We bring together faculty from MIT, Harvard, and the Harvard teaching hospitals and industry partners to execute drug discovery projects. We combine our expertise in drug discovery with the knowledge and unique capabilities of the Broad Institute to address a wide range of disease areas including oncology, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, psychiatric disorders, infectious diseases, and rare diseases.

Our goal is to embrace Broad's culture of creativity and open sharing to de-risk therapeutic hypotheses, validate new targets, and advance new therapies that will improve human health. The Broad Institute is committed to increasing the diversity across the institute. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of staff and who can contribute to the climate of belonging and inclusivity are encouraged to identify their skills in these areas when applying.

This position must exhibit a high level of expertise and comfort in managing and facilitating objectives within a complex cross-functional project team that spans Broad platforms and academic labs. The successful candidate for this position will work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Provides project management and leadership for high-priority, complex projects from strategic planning and initiation to completion while focusing on strategies for optimizing performance and maximizing successful outcomes.
  • Ensures that projects and activities adhere to institutional guidelines with regard to safety and regulatory compliance.
