Job Title: Technical Project Manager - GIS and Application Development
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with experience in GIS (Geographic Information System) and Application Development to lead and manage projects that involve the development and implementation of GIS and related software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in GIS and software development, as well as excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, GIS analysts, and data analysts.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and within budget.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and manage projects related to GIS and application development from initiation to completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Strong technical skills in GIS and software development languages such as.NET
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, software development, and GIS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or OpenLayers

$120,000 - $140,000 USD Annually
