We are looking to fill a contract position for a Project Manager in our Neptune, NJ office. The Project Manager manages assigned operational projects including but not limited to the post-award processes for government and private grants. In this role, you will oversee contracts and documentation to ensure compliance with all levels and divisions of governance authority, develop and procure contracts with vendors and consultants, incorporate best practices, and ensure excellent controls. The position works closely with finance, development, and program staff to ensure accurate, timely, efficient, and transparent processes are in place for a project’s life cycle and will work with finance staff to assure that projects are managed properly, that monies are spent in accordance with funder’s guidelines, applicable laws and regulations, and provide budget-related reports and expenditures. In addition, you will provide expertise on project compliance and interpretation, and all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures in collaboration with finance staff, interpret applicable regulations and translate into operational policies as required, understand internal controls related to the compliance requirements and related audit objectives, selected cost items, allowable and unallowable costs, and standard methodologies and support the capacity building of managers and others involved in project management and implementation.

Qualified candidate will have at least three years’ experience with project administration, budgets, contracts, and/or compliance. Documented experience in ensuring that transactions are recorded in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and individual grant and contract requirements. Must have strong technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus, and high ethical standards.
