Project Coordinator Jobs

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to read and understand drawings and construction techniques
• Strong understanding of Safety Regulations in any industrial facility
• Willingness to travel and work out of different locations (all within a 2-hour drive from Louisville or Lexington)

Plusses:

• Certified Electrician or any type of Associates Degree
• Professional experience in a Supervisory Role
• 2 years technical knowledge and proficiencies in the power industry, generation, or electrical utility companies

Daily Responsibilities:

• Insight Global is looking for a Project Coordinator for an extended contract opportunity located in both the Louisville and Lexington areas. This person will report to a few different power plants in their assigned region. Primary responsibilities will be inspecting work that contractors perform, developing safety plans, enforcing policies, conducting risk assessments, providing training, and investigating accidents. This project coordinator will need to have strong electrical or mechanical skills. 90% of the day will be out in the field observing contractors work safety. 10% of the day will be in meetings, reviewing drawings, specifications, etc. There is a training program in place for all operators that educates new hires on every function of the control center. The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience in working for an electrical utility company.
