Job Description
Job Summary: A new position, the Project Associate reports


to the Family TIES Director. S/He coordinates project trainings and events,


assists team with data entry and reporting, covers phones and assigns calls as


needed. This position is remote, with occasional in-person meetings required.


Essential Job Functions


Coordinate and schedule of all trainings and events


Provide administrative support with project activities.


Advertisement of training opportunities through various platforms


Update and maintain Family TIES website including the Central Directory for Early Intervention


(EI).


Assist with the coordination and production of monthly podcasts.


Enters and maintains information into required database for reports.


Coordinate the annual production of the Family TIES Resource Directory.



  • Participate in project and Federation staff meetings and annual VOC conference.



  • Provide general administrative assistance and perform tasks, as assigned.


    Required Qualifications


    Provide support with other projects as required.


    Bachelor’s degree, preferred. (A combination of education and experience may be substituted).


    Good oral and written communication skills, administrative and time-management skills.


    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 suite, Canva, (or other graphic design platforms) and WordPress.


    Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,


    YouTube, etc.).


    Prior work experience in early intervention and/or special education; parent of a child with a disability/special health care need is a plus!


    Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.



  • An independent worker who pays strong attention to detail and can take initiative and


    collaborate with team members.


    Opportunity to serve on various One Federation Committees. This position is 20 hours per week with excellent benefits. The Project Associate will collaborate with Family TIES team and report to the Family TIES Project Director.
