Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Communicate positively and accurately with all participants
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Plan, organize and lead progressive sport activities for all participants
  • Organize and maintain program records including, but not limited to attendance records, rosters, etc.
  • Promote other YMCA programs with participants
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and that all children are picked up by parent/guardian
  • Manage all equipment including, but not limited to set up and take down of class equipment
  • Maintain a clean and risk-free environment including equipment
  • Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge and experience in delivery of pickleball instruction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to relate and positively interact with participants
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and teach skills and competency at individual and group level lessons
  • Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations
  • Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
