Job Description
What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Program Manager to support warehouse and manufacturing facility. You will work cross-functionally with Global Supply Management, Logistics, Material Planning, Production Control, Finance, Quality and Facilities to oversee and direct Tesla priorities through a distribution centers and regional warehouses.

What You’ll Do
  • Proactively monitors indicators of warehouse health, anticipates problems, engages directly when necessary to support urgent material flow needs.
  • Performs, directs, and reviews Root Cause and Correction Action analysis of part shortage, near miss, and other system and process failures to ensure continuous improvement and learning.
  • Capex Project Tracking, with the ability to take conception to fruition.
  • Manages the operation of external warehouse, including container management, dock receiving, uncrating & repackaging, inventory management, JIT/JIS to line side.
  • Directly supporting logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, and transportation by supervising, optimizing, and troubleshooting the efficient and accurate flow of material.
  • Implements systems, process, configurations, and change/optimization projects in accordance with plans. Participates in project definition, scoping, and option analysis activities.
  • 3PL is another possibility to run the external warehouse. in this case, the candidate needs to be able to foster strong relationship with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers of warehouse services including adherence to contract terms, levels of service, and obtaining best value for Tesla.
  • Developing “the plan” with regards to optimizing factory and product line performance, including but not limited to performance optimization, capacity expansion, new line ramp into full production, etc.
What You’ll Bring
  • BS in engineering OR equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation, summarization, etc.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience in a mix of operations, engineering, and project management fields.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Exemplary project management, people, organizational, and escalation skills.
  • Track record of excellence in current and prior roles, demonstrable with metrics or KPIs.
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver results without direct authority.
  • Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
