Job Description
Overview:
Culmen International is hiring a Program Manager to provide support for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within the National Capital Region (NCR). Specifically, the Program Manager will be an integral part in supporting the sustainment of Preventive Radiological/Nuclear Detection (PRND) screening equipment throughout the equipment lifecycle in collaboration with DHS offices. This program will both assist with the implementation of a scalable infrastructure as well as provide supplies, parts, and services required to sustain PRND screening equipment, associated ancillary equipment, and all additional software used in operational support of DHS.

The Program Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and ensuring the proper execution of project deliverables. This position will require considerable collaboration with team members and United States Government (USG) employees. The Program Manager’s guidance will be essential to operating the project to completion in accordance with established timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure project is carried out properly and timely
  • Create client requested reports on an ad-hoc basis
  • Review performance metrics and reports to ensure work quality and compliance
  • Coordinate meetings, telecons/VTCs with key stakeholders, federal program management office members, the COR, and others as directed by the federal program manager
  • Develop progress reports on a weekly basis (for tracking inventory, maintenance, and operational readiness stats) and a monthly basis (tracking cost/schedule/performance and risks/issues by task)
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and document the Change Management Process for customer equipment in support of the stakeholder’s program management office/configuration management guide
  • Support and coordinate new equipment training for customer operational partners receiving equipment
  • Identify and track programmatic (cost/schedule/performance) risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Other programmatic tasks as assigned by the federal program manager
  • Provide overall program management support to include hardware/software development, integration, process/system enhancements and potential expansion efforts (such as integrating/accommodating other customer programs’ logistics support requirements)
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders at regular intervals to coordinate information exchange between both parties
  • Develop and implement processes to achieve project milestone completion
  • Manage and execute project management plan
Basic Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of supporting federal government programs
  • 10 years of program management experience
  • Master’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DHS
  • PMP Certification
