Job Description
Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will analyze pragmatic and customer needs and synthesize requirements information for program initiatives and planning. You will serve as a key participant in the development of an acquisition and sustainment strategy. You will direct the development of the comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of the requirements. You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program. You will analyze all changes that have an impact on the program and develop responsive and effective changes in plans and strategies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Integrating and controlling various forms of life-cycle technical/product data, technical/product data range from requirements and specifications used in design and procurement to maintenance manuals and parts lists used in sustainment; 2) Understanding provisioning and the information used from technical data packages to ensure a platform is successful in sustainment; 3) Understanding logistics management policies and processes to utilize technical directives and understanding of configuration; 4) Ensuring technical manuals are current through review in order to update processes; 5) Managing logistics workload and plan of work of subordinates in order to provide support in both technical and administrative aspects Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
