This clinical supervisor position is for a vacancy located in our residential inpatient facility, Fontainebleau Treatment Center/Alcohol & Drug Unit, in Mandeville. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information for this position.


This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period of not less than 6 months and not more than 24 months.


Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant’s level of experience. Below is the pay range for the position.


  • Professional Counselor 5: $24.10/hour minimum - $43.37/hour maximum

Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners; plus three years of professional level counseling experience.

Examples of Work


This clinician position serves as the clinical supervisor/program monitor for FPHSA’s two residential inpatient units. This facility is an ASAM Level III.5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity, residential substance use treatment program. The clinical supervisor responsibilities may include the following: ensuring clinical programming is provided 7 days per week, conducting daily groups, completing intake assessments, obtaining prior authorizations for treatment from various health plans as required, providing crisis interventions and emergency counseling as needed, scheduling admissions, maintaining the waiting list, providing education to clients and families related to substance use disorders, providing professional/clinical supervision to staff, managing work assignments, and participating in treatment team staffing's.


Additionally, the clinician attends annual trainings and webinars to improve competency in assessment, diagnoses, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The clinician also works collaboratively with Peer Support Specialists, and provides case management to those that may require additional support and coordination of services. The clinician may be required to work an occasional Saturday shift, rotating this duty with other clinicians on staff, and may also serve as a back-up to the Facility Manager if needed.
