Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Fort Benton, MT
Shift: This is a (2-2-3) 12- hour day shift schedule including Saturday and Sunday work as scheduled (typically every other weekend).
Pay: This is an hourly level position with a starting rate of $18.50 per hour
Position Description: The Production Technician position will report to the Plant and or Shift Supervisor and will perform duties in an industrial hemp processing facility. The Production Technician is responsible for set-up/start-up, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, documenting, and reporting issues on plant equipment. The Production Technician will also adjust equipment to ensure equipment is operating at maximum efficiency, keeping safety and quality a priority.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new jobs and cross train on positions in the oilseeds and or fiber facilities.
- Maintain and monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and efficient operation.
- Collect product samples.
- Loading and unloading materials
- Cleaning facilities, equipment, and machinery.
- Understand and operate all processing equipment with or without assistance as directed.
- In training to learn each position/task of the production line.
- Maintain work areas, isles, and grounds in a clean and tidy manner.
- Follow necessary GMP And SOP policies.
- Troubleshooting and fixing machinery as needed.
- Prioritize and maintain safe working practices and a safe working environment
- Package materials
- Safely operate heavy / arial equipment such as: Forklift, Skid-steer, wheel Loader, grapple, telehandler, scissor lift.

- Must have the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, dusty environment, and hot and cold temperatures.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to exhibit good work habits, including attendance and punctuality.
- 1-year industry or equivalent training preferred
- Prior manufacturing (grain or food processing) or agriculture experience a plus
- Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension
- Prior experience Operating heavy equipment and forklifts a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or training a plus
