As we continue to grow, we have an immediate need for Supervisor – Steel Rolling/#2 Mill Area.


We are seeking a seasoned production supervisor with a background doing hands on supervision in a heavy-manufacturing, continuous-production process. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent people skills, strong math and mechanical abilities and the energy to excel. Steel mill experience preferred, but not a requirement. This supervisor will manage hourly unionized crews of five to twenty-seven employees. You need to be willing and able to work in hot and cold environments; do heavy lifting; and work a shift which may be 3pm to 11pm or 11pm to 7am, and include weekends.


The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent people skills, strong math and mechanical abilities, and the energy to excel. We seek someone with the ability and willingness to work right alongside our bargaining unit workforce and motivate them to top performance. The following backgrounds would be helpful for this job (1) Someone who has grown up on a farm; (2) Someone who began their career working production or maintenance and risen into management; (3) Someone who works as a production lead. A background with mechanical engineering studies combined with experience doing hands on work is a strong plus. You need to be willing and able to work in hot and cold environments; do heavy lifting; and work a shift which may be 3pm to 11pm, 11pm to 7am, or 7pm to 7am and include weekends.
