Job Summary:


Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor position is a working supervisor role that involves leading one or more teams in the execution of the production/manufacturing processes. The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to ensure the assigned work is completed in a timely manner; this includes assigning and explaining daily tasks to associates; monitoring work progress and compliance with policies and procedures; training and assisting associates. The Production Supervisor will work with the management to improve processes in the production/manufacturing areas.


Job Duties:


  • Assemble and install electrical components according to engineered drawings
  • Limits and controls use of shop consumables
  • Lead department employees
  • Promotes Panelmatic’s policies, procedures, and safety practices
  • Work towards continuous improvement in the production/manufacturing shop
  • Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and communication with employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Participates in training, safety, quality programs, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Supervising, hiring, coaching, and terminating department employees
  • Reads, interprets, and follows pass-downs, work orders, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Help improve department processes to maximize efficiencies and quality
  • Use hand and power tools to layout, measure, drill, and tap subpanels for initial assembly preparation
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized
  • Expedite hot orders in a manner to maintain the production schedule
  • Act and resolve problems adversely affecting the schedule
  • Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates
  • Cut, tag, and run wire in specification to project drawings. This typically includes 480VAC, 120VAC, 24 VDC, and control wiring


Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Ability to stoop and bend required
  • Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required
  • Alignment with company core values required
  • Five-plus years of management experience required
  • Ability to read industrial specific drawings and specifications preferred
  • Five-plus years of experience in forklift operating required
  • Five-plus years of experience in workplace safety or HSE required
  • US work authorization without sponsorship required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
  • Must live in the greater Greenville area required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
  • Five-plus years of experience in electrical manufacturing shop environment required
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Four-plus years of experience in ISO 9001 certified environment preferred
  • BA in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management or other related field preferred
