Volt is immediately hiring a Production Operator II in Brooklyn Park, MN!

As a Production Operator II - you will be.

Tubing Trimmer/Shaper is responsible for the safe set up, operation, and maintenance of grinding to support manufacturing of custom and complex medical tubing.

Responsibilities

Performs manual/hand trimming, skiving, grinding and shaping of plastic tubing for medical products.

Operates measurement/verification equipment.

Performs quality checks and records data.

Inspects and packages completed parts.

Maintains accurate production records.

Strives to achieve daily production rates.

Follows applicable company procedures and policies.

May participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance line production operations and processes to assure the quality of all products.

Cleans and performs equipment preventative maintenance; makes minor repairs when possible.

Follows safety guidelines and policies.

Completes and submits manufacturing paperwork or electronic data entry following approved documentation practices.

Positively embody and support the companys policies and procedures.

Supports and promotes a respectful workplace.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High energy self-starter that excels in a high energy environment.

1-3 years manufacturing, med-technology, and/or extrusion experience (minimum).

High School Graduate or equivalency.

Have a strong sense of personal accountability, conflict resolution, collaboration, and flexibility.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particle and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

This is a contract opportunity.

Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday Friday, 6am to 2:30pm

2nd Shift: Monday Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN 55445

Duration: 06 Months

Pay:$19 - $25/hour
