Job Description

Since 1932, Empire Comfort Systems has been committed to providing high-quality products and services for our customers. Empire manufactures heaters, fireplaces, and grills which are sold in specialty retail stores all around North America. We are growing and looking for qualified candidates who are interested in growing with our company.

Responsibilities

  • Follow visual work instructions to produce consistently high-quality products that meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Use Resistance Spot Welding to bond metal components and attach fasteners
  • Work on a team to assemble metal fireplaces, heaters, grills, components, and accessories
  • Operate Punch Press, Laser Cutter, or Press Break
  • Handle sharp sheets of metal
  • Apply protective coatings to manufactured fireplaces, heaters, grills, and accessories
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to cut and form metal parts
  • Machine operation

Requirements

  • Use hand tools, air compressed tools, power tools, identify parts
  • Able to stand most of shift (10 hours)
  • Understanding of quality control principles
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Able to read instructions, drawings, and schematics

Full-Time

  • 4:25 pm to 2 :55 am (Third Shift)
  • Monday through Thursday
    • 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (First Shift)
    • 4:25 pm to 2 :55 am (Third Shift)
  • 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (First Shift)
