Job Summary


We’re looking for a Product Operations Lead to play a critical role in helping us build a technology-powered next generation Donor Advised Fund. Working closely with the exec team across finance, legal, and operations, you will be responsible for building and implementing new products and integrations that will help us efficiently and effectively deliver over $500M in annual donations to charities across the country. You must be passionate about teamwork, love digging into complex systems and designing elegant solutions, and believe that the power of generosity can change the world. Ideally, you have experience helping organizations streamline operations through digital transformation, finding opportunities to infuse technology into existing processes to reduce toil.

Key Responsibilities


The Product Operations Lead will play a critical role in helping us evolve our product suite while and streamline our technology enabled operations. This position will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify new opportunities for how we can improve our internal processes and build intuitive tools to help empower nonprofits and platform partners. You will be:


  • Researching solutions (partners, tools, integrations) and proposing a path forward
  • Create and collaborate with cross-functional groups on roll-out and implementation of technology-enabled processes
  • Leading design exercises to gather requirements, refine our learnings, and establish goals
  • Digging in to analytics to make data-driven decisions
  • Interviewing stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Shepherding an agile process to execute the roadmap and build great software
  • Developing and prioritizing requirements, charting a roadmap for our team


We’re a small company, so ideally you’re the kind of person who’s comfortable doing many different jobs. You’ll be serving both as a product manager, but also our operational leader who has the unique ability to pull out what the challenges are operationally and work cross functionally with our technical teams to improve on existing solutions or where necessary, build new solutions.


Types of Projects You’ll Be Leading


  • Supporting the technical transition / integration with a new donation management system
  • Examining manual processes across operations, disbursement, and accounting, and working closely with the tech team to push improvements to existing tools
  • Working closely with the tech team and our data analyst to support the build of our data warehouse and infrastructure


Requirements


Qualifications and Skills


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to facilitate collaboration with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Solution-oriented, considering multiple paths and able to weigh various inputs to make a recommendation
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and product skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams
  • A strong commitment to the company's mission and values, and a passion for driving positive social change through data-driven insights
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment


Required Knowledge & Expertise


  • Worked in a product management or tech enabled business operations position for 5-8 years
  • A commitment to building an inclusive workplace
  • Experience with analyzing large data sets to derive insights
  • Ability to work with teammates across time zones.
  • Strong research and documentation skills.
  • Authorized to work legally in the United States.
  • Ability to lead engineering teams as the lead PM
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel) and Google suite (docs, sheet).
