Position Description

The key responsibility of the Product Manager is to be the communication conduit between key system users and the IT development team to translate business needs into project requirements documentation.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.

Deliver small project workstreams, carrying out specified project activities within defined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed project management methodology.

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Build and populate dashboards and reporting mechanisms to capture results and improvement opportunities for digital initiatives.

Skills

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.

Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary.

Works with full competence to define the program, component projects, and operations, adapt existing life cycle frameworks to the unique nature of the program, and orchestrate the integration of all component parts to deliver the program outcomes and benefits.

Works with full competence to develop the strategic plan, and roadmap and manage the strategic changes associated with the portfolio.
