Job Description

Job Summary:

The Product Engineer drives product design, development, and plant support to effectively and efficiently launch products, as well as grow technical capabilities.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Create Design
  • Capture lessons learned
  • Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables
  • Communicate Design
  • Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets
  • Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution
  • Manage Program Risk
  • Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally
  • Validate Design
  • Understand internal and external customer design requirements
  • Launch Product

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, or equivalent degree in a technical field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, Industrial & Operations, etc)
  • 0-4+ years ofexperience in automotive interiors
  • The position requires travel, including overnight travel. Please inquire for further information.
