We're currently seeking a Product Development Associate that will report to our Head of Product Development and will collaborate, contribute and support the entire lifecycle of client engagements for product development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support in the management of manufacturer and related supplier relationships, including vetting manufacturing partners, negotiation of supplier agreements, costs of goods, terms, and conditions; reviewing of samples and or prototypes
• Collaborate and contribute to design elements, materials, manufacturing methods, and other factors that may affect product performance, safety, costs, and aesthetics
• Establish timelines for each phase of the product development process; diligently manage, organize, and document the product development cycle in the project management system
• Design, prepare and organize mood boards, conceptual presentations, and market-trend decks
• Support the Product Development team and collaborate on the identification, validation, and research of new products, from conception to launch; conduct extensive market research, due diligence, and overall product opportunity assessments

Qualifications

• Masterful project management discipline and capabilities; nothing falls through the cracks on your watch; diligently organized and must be a very clear and precise communicator, both verbally and written
• Proven experience in full life cycle product development from conception to finished goods
• Experience with consumer goods-related products e.g. beauty, fashion, wellness, household, kitchen, kids, baby, fitness, jewelry, home decor, food, beverage, etc.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, and supply chain management; experience with domestic and international factories, manufacturing companies, co-packers, and assemblers.
