As the Ninety organization continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on an additional Product Designer to play a pivotal role in our growing Product team.

As a Product Designer, you will report to the Lead Product Designer and Head of Product. You will use your skills to research, ideate, build, and deliver beautiful and intuitive solutions for a variety of user needs and business objectives. You will work closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the product development process, from initial research and discovery, to low and high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, to user testing and validation, to working with development and QA to ensure adherence to acceptance criteria and design guidelines.

This position will require working with an existing suite of tools, along with developing new tools in the coming years.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving UX/UI and user research process improvements across the growing Product team
• Being actively involved in defining the Ninety design system, as well as defining the vision and strategy for the Ninety platform
• Conceptualizing, designing and prototyping beautiful and intuitive experiences for current and future tools and features in the Ninety suite
• Conducting user research with customers and stakeholders to collect product feedback
• Communicating design ideas to stakeholders through a variety of methodologies
• Working closely with product managers to ensure designs meet product requirements, and with developers to ensure ideas can be brought to life
• Being an advocate for users, and the user experience, in cross-functional conversations
• Synthesizing research findings via a variety of methodology to gain a deeper understanding of user sentiment
• Building and conducting usability tests around mockups, prototypes, and in-app features
• Working closely with the Lead Product Designer and the rest of the Product Design team to ideate and design cutting-edge solutions to app-wide UX challenges

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Knowledge of modern UI design trends and best practices
• Worked in an agile environment
• Experience with the user research and discovery process
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• 3+ years in a similar UI/UX role with proven record of success
• Ability to empathize with users
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to teammates and stakeholders
• Experience with user testing and validation
• Experience with Figma or similar UI design software
• Experience with designing beautiful, responsive web applications

Not required, but nice to have:

• Experience working in a 'pods' product structure
• Experience working in a fully remote environment
• Coding experience (CSS/HTML)
• Experience with whiteboarding and collaboration tools (Miro, FigJam, etc)
• Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
• Experience with user testing tools and research repositories (UsabilityHub, Dovetail, etc)
• Experience with product roadmapping tools (Productboard)
• Experience with the Adobe suite of design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
